In a time where it seems everyone’s rights are being stripped away each time we tune into the news , we’ve both been really intentional about the music we listen to the books we read and the people we surround ourselves with. At the end of the day, the media and art that is a part of our lives should make us want to live more, laugh more, and see hope in the future. That’s why hearing about Pope Francis’s passing and watching his funeral ceremony filled with LGBTQ+ community, women, sex workers, and social outcasts, made us think just how disturbingly rare it is to know a public figure who embodies kindness. It shouldn’t be the case, but kindness IS radical, it’s rare, and dare I say punk?…✝️🕷️🏳️🌈
